By jumping for everyone in my private social media messages, comments, text messages and phone calls, not only was I reinforcing their bad behavior, their emotional garbage was infecting me.
DO NOT let other people INFECT you with THEIR disease to please--that’s poverty! This disease to please comes from fear. Fear, pride, insecurity it’s all the same thing. It’s the root of poverty and all bad things. Love is the root of all good things. LOVE MEANS SAYING “NO”! Sometimes!
THOSE NEEDY, SELFISH, EMOTIONALLY UNEQUIPPED people will NOT be there for you when you need money to pay your bills.
You think because you catered to them and jumped every time they rang the bell they'll be there for YOU when sh-- goes down! THINK AGAIN! you just got a NEVER ENDING JOB! YOU ARE NOW A SLAVE!
DO YOU WANT TO BE A SLAVE FOREVER LIKE THEM? CONGRATS! Now, you have a job, just like them! BUT WORSE! THE MONEY IS UNRELIABLE AND YOUR WORLD WIDE BRAND AND MISSION are at stake!
WHY would you want that kind of enslavement?
MY POINT: PUT THE WORK IN AND BE FREE from ALL people. Learn emotional self-sufficiency AND DEVELOP THE “NO” MUSCLE.
THE “NO” muscle WILL TRAIN YOU TO BE FREE FINANCIALLY! FREE FROM ALL PEOPLE, JOBS--EVERYTHING! BEST OF ALL? YOU will be giving them (THOSE POOR PEOPLE WHO ONLY THINK OF 3 WORDS “ME” AND “RIGHT NOW”----- the example (which is A MILLION TIMES MORE VALUABLE THAN MONEY.)
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Learn to fish, then teach THEM to fish they eat for a lifetime!
How can I be wealthy if I think & act like everyone else? If I am always jumping for everyone every time their emotions become too overwhelming?
HOLD YOURSELF to a higher standard, and they will RESPECT YOU AND VALUE YOU more! They will treat you better and BEST OF ALL: YOU will feel better!
WHY?
- You Kept your standard
- Enjoyed your life because you worked and got better and accomplished the goals you wanted to accomplish with your content and your business
- You GAVE THEM the freedom to say “no” to you when they want to (but are afraid to) AND the EXAMPLE you’re wanting to give them!
Rest, say “no” sometimes just by shutting off your phone, or setting a time that you will start and stop taking calls. AND Schedule calls like I do--if they don’t want to schedule, they REALLY DON’T WANT to talk to you! SHOW THEM HOW TO CARE FOR THEMSELVES BY SETTiNG THE EXAMPLE! Put YOUR oxygen mask on first!
