Poor vs Rich--why the accusers are often guilty ("Rich people are bad")

Poor people are the ones who do bad things. When people accuse others, it’s usually because they’re guilty of that same thing themselves—Romans 2:1.

I’ve noticed that people who make accusations often project their own behavior. For example, poor people frequently accuse rich people, or those aspiring to be rich, of being greedy, dishonest, or unethical. They call them scammers, liars, cheaters, and thieves. But in reality, poor people are often the ones doing bad things for money.

Take this example: they slack off at work, neglect their responsibilities, and don’t provide quality service. If you walk into a Starbucks at 4 a.m., the floors might be covered in chocolate, hair, and trash. The bathrooms are filthy. The tables are disgusting. And this is how they open the store!

Another common behavior I’ve seen is poor people ignoring customers. They don’t greet the people they’re paid to serve. Sometimes, they’re downright rude or dishonest. They pretend to care—asking about your business or YouTube channel—only to ignore you later. They say they’ll watch your videos but never do.

And it’s not just individuals; it's the entire culture in some businesses. Take Starbucks, for example. It’s the only brand I know of where they tell you to buy something or leave. Now, I get it—there aren’t many places where you can sit with a laptop and charge your devices. So, I’ll buy something. But I don’t appreciate the policy.

Think about it: I can’t tell someone, “Hey, you can’t watch my YouTube channel unless you buy something from me.” That would be ridiculous. It’s like telling someone they’re worthless if they don’t spend money. That kind of attitude creates a bad vibe and actually drives people away.

What do you think? Should businesses refuse service unless you make a purchase? Should people be turned away from using a restroom or sitting in a café if they’re not buying anything?

And back to my main point—poor people. I’ve met a lot of people in my life, and in my experience, it’s the poor who are often doing unethical things in business. They ignore customers, provide bad service, and take shortcuts. Yet, they’re the first to accuse rich people of those same behaviors.
