The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The journey to greatness begins when the need for comfort and certainty are OVERRULED by a purpose requires challenge and contribution. Brenden Burchard
I paid the cost to be the boss. “The good life is expensive. There’s another way to live that doesn’t cost very much, but it isn’t any good.” I could explain this many ways. I wanna focus on the fact that I’ve paid the spiritual, mental, emotional, social, physical and financial costs involved in this statement. I’ve done what most are unwilling to do for a while so later, I can live the way most are unable to.
Notice I said UNWILLING! Most people (99% to be exact—financially poor people) are UNWILLING to do what it takes to become wealthy. UNWILLING to forgo instant gratification. UNWILLING to have self-control, focus, control their time and focus on the right things, learn new skills, let others insult them without insulting them back or gossiping behind their backs, unwilling to get up early, go to bed late, work longer hours, work without payment, validation, appreciation or even acknowledgement, unwilling to abstain from sex, unwilling to go without vacations, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, leisure time, lottery tickets, or whatever. Unwilling to simply ENJOY the moment! BE present with other people. CARE FOR OTHERS WHEN THERE IS NO PAYOFF INVOLVED OR ABLE TO BE SEEN!
“A person who gets along in THIS world, is one who looks for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, creates them.”
Now I only fear ONE thing: NOT accomplishing my misson.
My Mission: Eliminate the need for chairty by waking people up to the reality of self-sufficiency. You are INFINITE in value! You can do ANYTHING you wanna do!
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime. Jesus Christ–in the Bible.
A wise man learns from his experiences. A wiser man learns from people’s experiences.
